Of course there was not effort, the deal was only agreed a month ago. This has been explained so many times, it's just not funny anymore. So, with the club's debts and wages bill, you don't think that £45m coming into the club is important? This is how books get balanced, kit deals, sponsorship etc. Or did you think that the money was going into TF's pocket? 45 mill - No its not important to me and shouldn't be to us fans with no vested interest in the financial affairs of the Club. The current track record of the owners are proving that they can't account & besides Sponsorships are mostly backdoor money, what worries me is that they have poor vision as a brand in picking low quality economy clothing and roll it out to be something HUGE !! Well, some might say that all fans have a vested interest in the financial affairs of the club. Getting money into the club is a good way to make sure that there's a club for the fans to support in the future. As for low quality economy clothing, where does that come from? Nike make football kits for a lot of the top teams in the world including England so how does that make it low quality & economy? Then again, I seem to remember it was you who said last year that Clint Hll should be boo'd from the team so forgive me if I take anything you say with a large pinch.

Meh.
Over it now. Thats the kit for next season so it is what it is.
Far more important than a bleedin top and what size hoops are on it is how well (or badly) the team wearing it will perform. Ultimately, if we get 40 points or finish 17th or higher thats really all that matters.
And as Rory, I think it was, said, it has one of the most important things of all on the sleeves-the Premier League badge.

True.
I say let's just get rid of the hoops and switch to all-Red which would make Tony REALLY Happy
And what REALLY Matters is the Premier League on the shirt

As for the reported 45 Million - That's spread over five years. Obviously not to be belittled. But it's not as though we weren't getting some significant money from shirts. So we havent gone from zero to 45 million

Clint was is too slow for the premiership. I'm sure Nike do turf out some low quality kits at youth level, but we're talking about premier league and I don't hear any Man Utd fans complaining. And yes, I agree that Hill is too slow for the Premier League, doesn't mean he deserves the disrespect of being "boo'd off the team".

OK so as I was saying....Not disparaging the money... But we're talking (I think) 45 Million over 5 Years Our last contract with Lotto (when we were a "smaller" club) was 20 Million over 5 Years. www.brandrepublic.com/news/795670/QPR-signs-record-20m-kit-deal-Lotto/So it's 5 million more a year with Nike - (Two 50,000 pounds a week players) And a presumably a new deal with Lotto rather than the deal with Lotto would also have been more than the 20 million first deal. Just to put in a little perspective

Of course they do. And I have the freedom to point it out. And you have the freedom to point that out.
When the new kits came out and I would say the majority of the tweets I saw on the subject, were less than laudtory about the new kits, but the Chairman retweets the positive tweets: Well I just "take note" of that.

I believe that the Chairman's retweeting re the Kits was not "repeated ad infinitum." Maybe other things he's done. But this is a thread re the new Kits.

Ie, you comment on it almost every time he retweets stuff but then that seems to be indicative of this messageboard these days. The same digs being constantly regurgitated.

Ok .. Dennis second isn't as 1'st but black and red .. Third doesn't offend and usual thirds are some flight of fancy but home is what I look at and isn't a hoop ! That annoys me but that is what is us for next season ... We will live with it and count our lucky stars we aren't Liverpool lol
