Not revealing my source as I think it inappropriate if I did, but... ...that's how I heard about Balanta getting injured... ...Adel was out of this world at training on Weds... ...Dyer is just as likely to play at right back as he is in midfield if selected (ie Onouhra probably first choice but Dyer and Fabio can cover there so no need for Young or another player to cover)... ...Faurlin in light training at the moment... ...Barton, Hulse, Smith have been training with the ressies - hence no surprise they were not on the plane...

just wonder how gutted or not barton is about not going on this tour, if i were a pro it would devastate me, if i wasnt a pro than i would not worry and be content with travelling a few miles to training with the reserves and get paid.

www.qpr.co.uk/page/AsiaTour/0,,10373~2849088,00.html #ASIATOUR - BLOG: FRIDAY 13TH JULY Posted on: Sat 14 Jul 2012 QPR's Press & PR Manager Ian Taylor brings you the latest news from the R's pre-season tour of Asia ... The QPR squad have touched down in Hong Kong, as the players and coaching staff now wait for a connecting flight to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, the first port of call on the 12-day tour of Asia. The touring party, which includes CEO Philip Beard, arrived at 7am local time, with temperatures touching 28 degrees in the early morning. The flight from Heathrow was pretty trouble-free for all involved, with many taking the opportunity to catch some sleep, whilst others were glued to their iPad's, lap-tops or the on-flight TV screens. Hogan Ephraim clearly thinks he's the next Steve Davis or Ronnie O'Sullivan, as he played some snooker on his iPad, whilst youngster Michael Harriman opted for the footballers favourite, Football Manager. Clint Hill and Heidar Helguson took advantage of some of the on-flight games and Nedum Onuoha was deeply engrossed in Michael Johnson's autobiography 'Goldrush - What Makes An Olympic Champion' - rather apt ahead of the Games in London later this month. Personally, I chose to watch 'The Four Year Plan' (for umpteenth time) ... However, one of the main talking points since the squad met up on Friday morning was the bleached blonde haircut of Armand Traore, but the less said about that the better! I'm writing this from our private lounge in Hong Kong, to a wonderful backdrop of beautiful mountains and stunning scenery. Next stop, Kota Kinabalu ...

www.qpr.co.uk/page/AsiaTour/0,,10373~2849163,00.html #ASIATOUR - R'S ARRIVE IN KK Posted on: Sat 14 Jul 2012 The QPR squad have touched down in Kota Kinabalu. After a two-and-three-quarter hour flight from Hong Kong, the touring party were met by a memorable welcome reception at KK airport (more details to follow in today's blog), before the squad - led by gaffer Mark Hughes - made the short 10 minute journey by coach to the luxurious Sutera Harbour Resort. A magnificent 5-star resort with 456 suites, the grand entrance is a sight to behold. With fine timber furnishings and traditional handicraft artifacts, this resort is lavish in the extreme, with a series of idyllic backdrops providing the perfect location for the players and staff to relax and unwind after a hectic 24 hours travelling. That rest and relaxation will end tomorrow, however, when the hard work begins for Hughes's new-look squad, with an early morning gym session followed by training at 5.30pm (local time).

www.qpr.co.uk/page/AsiaTour/0,,10373~2849171,00.html #ASIATOUR - BLOG: SATURDAY Posted on: Sat 14 Jul 2012 Mark Hughes and his QPR squad arrived in Malaysia to a fanfare reception shortly after 1pm local time today. As the players disembarked from their chartered AirAsia flight which took them from Hong Kong to Kota Kinabalu, a welcoming party greeted them with a dancing routine which is a Sabah tradition. There were a whole host of photographers and camera crews present on the tarmac, highlighting once again not only the popularity of the Premier League in this part of the world but also the growing awareness of QPR. Following the official welcome, a coach - complete with police escort - took the squad to the luxurious Sutera Harbour Hotel, which will be their base for the next four days. Meanwhile, CEO Philip Beard held a press conference before departing the airport in which he answered a series of questions from local media regarding the tour and, specifically, the upcoming match against a Sabah Select XI on Tuesday evening. Coverage of that press conference will be available to QPR Player subscribers shortly. The players were given a short amount of time to freshen up after 18 hours of travelling before the group all went for a brief stroll around the stunning hotel complex. This evening the squad will be officially welcomed by the Sabah FA before enjoying a private dinner and an early night ahead of their first training session of the tour tomorrow morning!

Various insects, battered alive and deep fried before your very eye, yum. I love Hongk Kong, sadly, although the airport is stunning, the old one was much more fun! Was it raining in Sabah? When do we see photos of this hotel/resort, sounds amazing!!!

Cisse, has potential to be a Paul Furlong type legend to fans. I'm quite excited about his goalscoring potential this season, having had a full pre-season preparation behind him.
