Thanks Copied/pasted from LFW - LINDAA few questions for you: 1) How many non-Committee members attended the OSC AGM on 16 February? - TWO 2) How many people replied to our request for new OSC Committee members? - NONE Where were all those who now want to know so much about the OSC, its set up and membership? Where was the interest then - or ever in the past? I haven't commented publicly on any of the assaults against the OSC that have been going on, because being Secretary I was bound by the rules of the Constitution and acted rather more professionally than personally, sticking to the task that I undertook quite a while ago. The Committee didn't lie down and roll over at the meeting of 3 June - we raised some hard and emotive issues on behalf of the supporters, the vehemence of which surprised the Club's representatives. The minutes you read were not my minutes and did not reflect the entire content of the meeting. Rest assured, we asked the club for an EGM immediately after receiving the request... I've been asking persistently for the same for almost four weeks but nothing has been forthcoming. As some of you have commented, we don't get to meet with Flavs or Bern .... but it seems a lot of you out there think the OSC Committee should be beating a track straight to their offices. Get real! It's not about the strength of the OSC - have the LSA, QPR 1st or any other organisation managed to achieve more? It was the Club's decision to make the OSC Committee the "mouthpiece". Perhaps more a case of lambs to the slaughter, but we were prepared to take on the task. I'm no longer the Secretary, nor am I on the Committee as of last night so I can be as political and publicly abusive about issues as a lot of others out there in messageboard-land. I'm also stung by ticket price increases and the boardroom issues affect me too. I can join my voice with yours - publicly now - but it doesn't mean I felt it any less than others at that time. Bring it on everyone, slag off the OSC to your heart's content but, when the time comes and an EGM is eventually held, please don't feel bashful at putting yourselves forward to work as hard as I've done for the past few years. The opportunity is all yours. (This message will be repeated across other boards) www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/fb_mb.php?m=v&t=30162&page=2#31

Hi, I've only just registered here and was about to post but see I've been quoted already!
I have to say, while reading this thread that I'm impressed that some of you seem to sympathise with our plight. Some of your comments are spot on.
I have resigned my post as Secretary because I was as disappointed at the lack of support as you seem to be.
Thanks.

Welcome on here Linda. Your input is as valuable as everyone elses and I hope you make this home - alongside your attendance on Indy's.

Do you know if the other members of the OSC Committee are going to do the honorable thing and resign as you have done.

Looks likely that Linda could be inundated with questions.
Such us, do you know frazzle?

Joining in the welcome to Linda. If perchance, you felt like answering some of the questions, and ignoring or refusing to answer others, that would be fine with, and I'm sure greatly appreciated by all of us. Even if just logistical stuff re the OSC - without betraying sworn confidences, etc.

Wonder what would have happened if Linda (and others?) had stayed on the OSC Committee and spoken out against what the club had done/was doing. Obviously the Club wouldnt have posted those OSC Committee Member Comments. But they would have bounced across the QPR Boards.
The club's reaction would have been very, very interesting. Do they have the right to axe? Would they pressure? Presumably, etc.

Mac, in reply to you asking any response yet?
Two out of office replies but that's all. I'm not really expecting the club to answer my questions unless they receive mail from a large number of supporters.

Linda, thank you very much for your post.
Having sent mail to the club for the past 3 weeks that they have tried to ignore, I can fully understand the frustration that you must be feeling.
I have no doubt that they were not "your minutes". The explanation from Daniel Laryea to me for the minutes taking all that time to be released was that they had to be approved by very senior management!
I also completely doubt that any other group would be able to get a more welcome response from the club & think that the best we can achieve at the moment is to register our individual feelings/grievances.

H May I echo the sentiments made by H Linda and would like to yet again reiterate that the vast majority of posters on the various message boards do not put any blame whatsoever at the door of you and your fellow (ex) committee members It will be extremely interesting to see how the club now respond to the news that some of you have resigned your posts and what they intend doing about it and also what priority they will give the called for EGM

If I had to guess: The club will not comment on the resignations. Or post something sparse about considering new options as to how best to communicate with fans. And diasble the OSC part ofthe site.
And then leak to their buddies on the boards and in the local press, some spin/version

Apologies to all those thousands of QPR fans, I'm not familiar with/know your names...So I'm assuming Flavio will pick Ben Kosky, Finney, Bushman, Kevin Gallen, Ingham, BP and Jude

To all those OSC committe members who have resigned I salute you, as I am sure will the vast majority of the fan base. Taking this stance proves to any doubters that you are real fans who share the pain and anguish of the majority as these w*nkers attempt to destroy our club.
Those that go to games go in spite of them, not because of them and renewing is not supporting these disgusting owners.
Any attempts to back the owners with vile crap about investing and saving our club are simply liars, mugs or idiots. They haven't invested, they've taken and multiplied our debt six fold.
