When he arrived at QPR, I thought he was going to be something special. I watched videos of him scoring wonderful free kick goals for Real Madrid and Spain but I must say that Parejo did not live up to his reputation here in England. In the games he did feature in, there were no goals, no style and no work rate. One heavy tackle and he was out of the game. In my opinion he was a poseur and QPR are better off without him. Remember when he arrived and Hogan Ephraim had to give up the number seven shirt for him, unbelievable.

As I said earlier: Quite a fortuitous bit of timing: We want to get rid of him at the very time that Real Madrid want him back. Just to self promote: QPR Report at Vital Football QPR "Dani of the 100 Days: From Summer Hype To Cold Reality." - " QPR Report takes us back to the summer and the revelation that Queens Park Rangers had signed Spanish wonder-kid Daniel Parejo..." www.qpr.vitalfootball.co.uk/sitepage.asp?a=135591

Glad we returned him in good condition (Otherwise, maybe it would have been a case of "If you break it, you have to pay for it"

A Spanish youth to rangers came from Madrids sunny clime He moved around like lightning and his passes were sublime But soon he found the English with their league of hoof and boof It all was much to much for him that spaniard from Madrid That he found a way to play the game but also to stay hid. And so it was that promised youth was nowhere to be found As Rangers team set out for Plymouths shore in pounding rain Our wunderrkind booked passage on the Spanish main his welcome home so ardent and sincere, a puzzle til you learned what they exclaimed was done while downing a galleon of spanish wine, as Dani also drinking english stout said "those Queens Park Rangers were not skilled enough to be colleagues of mine. For Real I will play with brilliance and skills sublime. The Legend of Pare Jo.
