would someone do a top ten list of best players in their lifetime or go back historically in time also? Rate 10 best and 1 10th? Could be fun.

I guess being best friends with a #10 gets you onto the Top 10 list - Don Shanks

Well I started this but we could add categories. But first where do Wayne Fereday Don Givens Don Masson and Tony Hazell belong? Will Buzasky eventualy make the list? So International Caps our record is Don Givens 26 caps for Ireland. Then Terry Fenwick 19 caps plus "hand of god' chase. Fair though to go back to the start in Kensal Rise. George Goddard goal scoring machine around 1926 Alf Ridyard brilliant center half in 30s and 40s Reg Allen (record transfer to man U.) Substituted for Frank Swift. Sir Ivor Powell (now 96) Welsh caps and marked Sir Stanley Matthews and Tom Finney. Tony Ingham and ending the ancient list with Mark Lazarus who scored our winning goal in our only Silverware
So I dont disagree with most of list, but will start a historic and special award list. 10George Goddard 9Reg Allen 8Don givens 7Mark Lazarus 6Terry Fenwick 5Tony Hazell (400 games in 10 yrs) 4 Sir Ivor Powell 3 Don Masson 2Alan Macdonald 22 caps 1 Tony Ingham sentimental choice for last 10 years Paul Furlong.
1 67 Mark Lazarus

Reg, I'll accept on the back of remembrances of my old dear departed father in law that Reg Allen was different class although I would take Parkes above Seaman myself. But I digress, how you can leave the one and only Brian Bedford out of you list of bygone giants is little short of a national scandal. Well I started this but we could add categories. Knew you would ask. That represents the film over Lazarus left eye as he could bareley see and that is his eye chart with missing numbers etc. Or it could be Rodney Marsh's doing as he visits the site a lot and mucked the posti up because he really was the great force in that historic game.

Agreed. how could I forget Brian Bedford and his amazing number of goals somehow though I think of Brian Bedford the actor first, dunno why. Perhaps a top twenty. but enough of this. Lists of best games?? Anyway if I got to hear from Reg Allen's son in law it was worth and Im so sorry about the loss of my hero. Found another error George Goddard played at Park Royal not Kensal Rise.
