QPR up to third...(no, we haven't been at the Christmas sherry early!) Nov 27 2008 London Informer
John Harbin has helped QPR up to third in the table. No, there hasn't been a consignment of gin wrongly dispatched to your favourite local paper, because the table in question is the one kept by ProZone - keepers of every statistic known to man and footballer. The company used by all but six of the Championship's clubs has calculated QPR have gone from third-worst in the division in terms of fitness to third-best since Harbin was moved in by the new Rs management team in the summer. The former Aussie rugby league star has been kept on despite the man who brought him in, Iain Dowie, being axed. Tim Flowers, who has been assistant at the last three clubs that Dowie has managed, explained why QPR teams have been particularly strong in second-halves of games. He said: "The average distance covered by a midfielder in any one game is around 10k. Our midfielders have average around 11k this season. "Last season, Rangers were consistently in the bottom three. But John has overseen a fitness regime that's more than made up for that."

I think we'd kind of spotted that. Not knocking it mind, good stuff ad very sensible keeping the man responsible at the club. Sousa can add the flair, nit like icing on a cake eh!
