MIKLOSKO STAY'S FOR GOODRANGERS have signed keeper Ludek Miklosko for a nominal fee from West Ham, following the Czech international's successful loan spell at Loftus Road.

Ludo joined for a 'nominal fee' after his three month loan spell. He's signed an 18 month contract at Rangers.
Boss Gerry Francis explains:" I’ve never signed a player on Christmas Day before! But we were looking ahead to the FA Cup tie against Huddersfield,
and we had a worrying situation as I knew that I would be without Maddix and Steiner. Obviously Ludo would not have been able to play either,
with his loan spell finished. And if we had suffered any injuries against Norwich or Barnsley, we could have ended up with four or five players out for the FA Cup.
"So we had to sort something out, especially since Lee Harper was ill. We couldn’t really agree anything with West Ham and when I went in on Christmas Eve,
it was all dead and buried. It appeared that Ludo would be returning to Upton Park. Then we had a call from West Ham agreeing to our offer of a nominal fee.
The trouble than was that the FA had closed down for Christmas and it seemed that it would be too late to sign Ludo for the FA Cup,
as players have to be registered seven days in advance of ties.
"Then I spoke to my secretary Sheila Marson and we worked out that we could fax all the papers through to the FA, even though there was nobody there.
As long as the fax arrived and it was dated. We were able to get hold of someone at Lancaster Gate to see if that was possible.
And it was so we did it on Christmas Day. That’s a one off, I think. I’ve never conducted a transfer on Christmas Day before and it’s my
first signing since I returned to Rangers so I’m very pleased."
MIKE SHERON made history in the home game against Norwich for the shortest ever appearance by a Rangers player. Just after the game kicked-off,
Mike tweaked his hamstring and he came off after just 13 seconds! When it was put to Mike that he had set a new QPR record, Shez said:"Tell me about it!"
FORMER Rangers assistant manager Bruce Rioch had a brief comment about his feelings on returning to Loftus Road on Boxing Day as the Norwich City boss.
Rioch said:"It was disappointing - we lost."
