Nineteen Years ago: December 9, 1989, Don Howe's first home game as Acting Manager [The previous week, Trevor Franis had been axed and Howe had taken charge and led the team to 3-0 win at Crystal Palace (aided by having Ray Wilkins making his QPR debut)] And the following week: Nineteen years ago, QPR were home to Chelsea... And the score was... QPR 4 Chelsea 2 Roberts Bardsley McDonald Maddix Sansom Parker Reid Wilkins Sinton Ferdinand Falco Sub; Clarke, Barker Goals, Ferdinand 2 (His first for the Club) Falco, Clarke And Roy Wegerle made his QPR debut the followijng game

Wegerle went next year for a million and one by one they all left including ferdinand Impey Sinclair clive Wilson McDonald Steksjal Brevitt, The tall colourful bird centre half, sinton and AFC wimbledon. But we had steve Yates and devon white. How close I came to Putney bridge.
