Besides all the games between us, including our 1969 League Cup game against Wolves at Loftus Road: Frank Clarke scoring 2 in our 3-1 smashing of them... Just occurred to me - Besides of course what Wolves did to us in May 1976 - and which no QPR fan old enough to remember will ever forget or forgive - The fact of Chairman Thompson permitting our then manager, Gerry Francis to talk to Wolves about the managership. - And the supposed (and denied) quest of Wolves for our then-manager Ian Holloway. (which led to Paladini summoning a very sick Holloway to Leeds) I think Tommy Docherty briefly managed Wolves Shame they didn't wear their gold strip yesterday. Presumably another eg of commercialism: Trying to market their second or their strip.
