Emotive title indeed but surely Nick DeMarco is the Mole or Grass?

Nico had sensitive info from his former employer which HE choose to send out via multiple email after too much too drink.

He may have an argument that he was whistle blowing and he sent the emails it in the interests of the club but IMO this fell down when he openly backtracked to Flavio and also made a statement taking sole responsibility putting it down to too much wine.

The email was on the boards for a time before the press picked up on it but they would have done so regardless of the person you are calling a grass which may I add in certain circles would spell a very nasty response to both the accused and accuser.

You then went further and named the person and his employer, insinuating his bad work practices and generally bad mouthing him on WATRB, a message board that as far as I am aware he doesn't use.

Before you presume I have taken a side let me state that I think Nico, anyone passed on the email, whomever posted it on the boards and whomever contacted the press are to blame for this embarassment BUT none of it could have happened without Nico so he must take the fall.

The stigma of being untrustworthy, mole, rat, grass etc lays firmly at Nick DeMarco's door and his door only even though IMO the others , now including yourself come out looking very dubious indeed.

Again, only my opinion but if I were you Scott I would apologise, delete posts, retract your statements and let Nico and the others directly involved deal with the matter as you have now needlessly concerned yourself in this sorry mess.

From an impartial viewpoint it looks like you have singled out the wrong person because of some unrelated incident in the past.

If you have an axe to grind then I suggest you do so privately and not on message boards where by doing so it makes all Rangers fans look like complete idiots.

If one were to visit LoftforWords, one would find a response posted by the person "accused" of sending the email to the Daily Mail. (It's on page nine of a very long thread).

Well as a semi-involved person (being one of the three recipients of Nico's original email), I've somewhat stayed away from the debate (except to exonerate Sheila Marson, when there were board rumours that the email had originated from her).

To me: How did the email get to the Mail; Was it the person claimed by Nico (and denied by the person)? Should Nico have written the email; Why Nico wrote the email? Nico's stepping forward to claim authorship; and a number of other questions posed by various board people. But the actual questions posed by Nico - consideration whether there was anything to the questions he asked - have basically been ignored.
