Taylor's Wycombe had picked up six points in 11 games
Wycombe Wanderers have parted company with manager Peter Taylor by mutual consent after their disappointing start to the League One season.
Taylor led the Chairboys to promotion from League Two last season but they are second from bottom in the table and have not won since 29 August.
His assistant Junior Lewis has also left the Adams Park club.
Head of youth development Richard Dobson will take caretaker charge for Saturday's game with Gillingham.

Tranmere Rovers have today terminated the contracts of Manager John Barnes and Assistant Manager Jason McAteer with immediate effect.2009
The pair joined Tranmere in June 2009 but just two league wins in the opening 11 league games have left the Club in 22nd position.
Physiotherapist Les Parry has been placed in temporary charge assisted by Reserve Team Manager Shaun Garnett in preparation for Monday's home game against Stockport County at Prenton Park.
The search for a new manager will begin immediately.
Chairman, Peter Johnson said: "Unfortunately results have not gone our way this season and we are at the wrong end of the table.
"We must now focus on finding the best possible candidate to help us climb the division.
"I urge all supporters to get behind Les, Shaun and the team on Monday night when we play at home to Stockport County."
