(Saw both of those Away games )Forty-FOUR Years ago today: August 31, 1968...Newly-promoted QPR travelled to Highbury...and narrowly lost 2-1 to Frank McClintock's/Bertie Mee's Arsenal. Alan Wilks came on as substitute and scorred QPR's goal with his first touch of the ball. Kelly - Clement Hazell Watson Harris Sibley Keen Leach Morgan (Ian) Allen Bridges [And forty-ONE years ago today, a brilliant Rodney-Marsh inspired QPR won a midweek game at Fulham 3-0.
