Acording to the Evening Standard, Chelsea's manager Scolari has told Manncienne to either sign an extension to his deal with Wolves which ends on the 29th December or sign another temporary loan elsewhere. The Brazilian is refusing to guarantee him a chance of first team football in the future as he has 4 centre halves at the club already. John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, Alex and Branislav Ivanovic, who he rates as the best in the world at the present time. I liked him when he played with us, I thought he did a good job, played mostly out of position but gave 100% effort. If we are going to progress I think this is the type of player we need. I was surprised when we did not go after him for this season despite according to reports on some message boards he would have liked to come back. Any thoughts ? Should we try for him at the end of December, he is still only twenty.

I'd have him back like a shot
still confused at not signing him before - good enough for a call up to play against Germany but not good enough for a mid table CCC side (as we currently are)
Bizarre

Spoke to him last season outside the west stand, he wanted to join, even then. I would have him back also. Wonder why we don't follow him up, he's played most of his pro career for us!

I'm quite sure someone posted that De Canio didn't really rate him, thought he made too many costly mistakes or something like that. Don't ask me to dig up that post though...also this would be a message board post, so it would have to be taken by a pinch of salt anyway.
