Retitled From Source of Email not Sheila Marson
Since I saw some suggested/questioned/wondered/insunuated by some, whether she was. Without elaborating further, 100% certain of this.
Now whether she really did somehow screw up over Helguson transfer - and that was the cause for her axing; I have no idea. Seems incredibly hard to belived If so, it's seems incredibly an excessive response. for 25 years or whatever service.
We can all think of QPR screw ups over the last few years which didn't elicit such responses.
And the "goodbye" announcement was one of the coldest statements I've seen from this club.
Sooner or later, it will probably leak out. Now Mr. Briatore may thinkof QPR supporters as peons; and this is his toy which he bought. Time will tell.
As the saying goes: Goodwill begets goodwill. And undoubtedly the reverse is true. Or to put it anothere way: As Ye Sew, So Shall Ye Reap !

Having a few contacts in the press and the club I can 100% say that Sheila had nothing to do with the e-mail OR the HH saga.

From Dave McIntyre on BBC 606 "...I think it's inevitable given the timing that people will speculate that the e-mail you're referring to came from Sheila Marson. It didn't." www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A44055911

It certainly didn't come from me! (I had it. I didn't forward it to anyone) NICO's Post therangersboys.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=rumours&action=display&thread=16909The email It maybe a bit of an open secret, but as everyone does not know, and there has been some unfair speculation (especially involving Sheila Marson), I thought it was the right thing to confirm I was the author of the email to 3 or 4 fans that somehow (and against my wishes) got into the hands of the Daily Mail and was published last Saturday. I should confirm that Flavio personally has known this since the article was published. I called a member of the board and confident of Flavio on Saturday morning and informed him that I had written the email, and that I deeply regretted that someone had passed it on to the Daily Mail, and that I realised I would not be welcome in the Directors area anymore. There is thus no truth in any speculation that Sheila or anyone was dismissed as a result of the email. The two are completely unconnected. I should say that I do regret sending the email for 2 main reasons. First, I clearly made a mistake in trusting someone who passed this on the Daily Mail. I did not want or expect the contents of the private email to be published in the paper and I was naturally distressed that it was. Secondly, I do not want anyone else to get in trouble for something I did. I am sure, now Flavio knows it was only me involved, that that will be the case. I wrote the email alone, without the knowledge or support of anyone else. I should also say, however, that I remain very concerned about a number of things that have occurred since a takeover I personally worked very hard for and fully supported at the time. The latest, and one of the most distressing things for me, has been the decision to dismiss Sheila Marson. Like many fans, I respected and liked Sheila tremendously, and found her to be one of the most genuine, loyal, reliable, honest and kind servants of the club, as well as one of the most professional and well respected Club Secretary’s in the business. I am very disappointed at that decision, as I have been personally at others, and regardless of the email that I sent, I believe my continued relationship with the Board was becoming untenable. I did not in the email I sent, nor have I elsewhere, disclosed any information imparted to me confidentially as a result of my role as a legal advisor with the Club, and I would never do so. The fact is that I have not been involved in many legal matters this year, and for once, considering the nature of some of those matters such as the appeal to the football league over ticket price increases, and the termination of the employment of Iain Dowie and Sheila Marson, I am grateful I was not asked to involved. I apologise to anyone else who was caused distress by the fact I sent an email with some of my concerns to three fans. I hope those who know me realise I only did so because of my own love for the football club, and not for any selfish reason. I will be happy to return to the stands and support the team, and I am very grateful for being able to serve the Club as I did (controversially I know at times) over the years. Running a football club is a very difficult thing indeed, and everyone I have ever met at QPR, whether past of present Board Members, staff or fans, have always wanted what is best for the Club, and most give much more than they get from it, even if we do at times disagree with each other. I know from my own short time as a Director of the Club that we all realise that QPR belongs to the fans. It is the fans that have made QPR what it is, without them it would be an empty shell, and it will be the fans that will continue to make and shape QPR in the future. Of that I am sure. Nick De Marco
