My guess....
Briatore cannot bankroll the club, the Mittals can but want more say so if they are going to do so. Thus, some "rules" agreed between the Mittals and Briatore, they take a greater share (from Ecclestone) and it basically becomes Amit and Flavio running the shop.
As for GP - I think he'll be safe. Amit is getting in touch with the fans and the reality of football where as Flavio hasnt got a clue. Amit and the Mittals trust Gianni and I reckon he'll be a go between. Calming Flavio down when he's hot headed and educating Amit/keeping him in touch
