Is he a better bet than Dowie or Gregory or even Holloway. (And there are quite a few English options available). Double gamble: He's inexperienced as a manager/Coach...And he doesn't know the Championship.. But hey, maybe Briatore can still help out..

If I was briatore I wouldnt be appointing managers. Nor anything to do with football. Would have a seach for a managing director of football who KNOWS football. played it and knows the league Search committee of former great mangers and stars and one fan from LSA. First that person would build the team to a place where it can win games consistently and then hire a manager to bring it together. The way for success is to keep the chairman as afar away from operations on field as possible. Whats happenning now is more of the same, a tale told by an idiot. Full of fury and signifying nothing.
