I still think Marti deserves another 5 games to turn it around. Minimum 8 points needed. We are a poor squad have been for a few seasons now, but lots of injuries means our bench is now made up of the development squad. Unless the board have a replacement lined up and don’t want to lose him (e.g Robins possibly) then we keep the faith - just! Went yesterday and we did defend ok with Leeds rarely threatening in the 2nd half. But we offer nothing going forward without Chair, Dembele and Frey. Squad is imbalanced with too many wide players and short upfront. We need to cash in Chair in January for a decent striker.

Squad is imbalanced with too many wide players and short upfront. We need to cash in Chair in January for a decent striker. Marti wants them to play out from the back (doesn't every coach today!!). But every game, we have one weak link in the 5 doing that. Nardi, Dunne, Cook & Clarke salter (Field) but Santos / Ashby or whoever cannot. Opposition know this so they press and we give the ball away or the ball goes back to Nardi. It is frustrating to watch, but so is the lack of options from midfield, offering up for the pass forward. No Colback, no Hayden, Anderson 3 years older than last season , and new players overrun with any opposition showing strength or movement. If we go long, Cellar can hold the ball up, but no one is close to him. He is not likely to score either is he? So yes I agree, totally imbalanced squad. Lots of tiny players who are not defenders. Whoever is responsible for the following decisions should be accountable before we sack another manager leaving those culpable in place: 1) We released Kakay (who is unable to secure another club - how poor is he perceived?) and replaced him with Santos. A player that Marti quickly decided was not a right back. Marti then saw him slaughtered at left back... 2) They panicked and abandoned Hayden for Ashby 3) They spent good money on players that other clubs had declined, it would seem based purely on analytics - did we ever go and watch them? 4) We decided to give total control to a 26 year old novice, who in turn empowered Belik. 5) We decided not to have a Director of Football Gallen has said that Belik is usually at the QPR game rather than watching potential signings. We are a long way short, and even with returning players we will really struggle. How much of this is down to Marti, I just don't know

I'm a big believer that Christian Nourry is probably not the person we should have.
BUT. We now have a bunch of players at QPR who even if we fired Nourry tomorrow - I doubt we'd be able to get rid of most of these players anytime soon. (And some might good).
And injured players will come back sooner or later.
So the question: Could a different manager get better results with the players we do have?
And could we get that manager? And why would he come

No doubt we will stick with Marti until at least 10 points adrift and that won’t be too long away. Team is weak all over the pitch and zero threat up front. As soon as a team scores you know you have lost, our only chance of picking up points is 0-0 every week. Some of the substitutions have been very odd of late.
Robins will be gone to Hull or Luton before us, We failed to pick up points when we had most of our team fit, now we have injuries it’s like poor old QPR it’s hard picking up points with so many injuries, no mention of the crap results against Derby , Plymouth , Portsmouth, Hull etc.

I think we have to be very careful what we wish for. Mark Robbins availability has seduced some into thinking he would be a good option. But I think he will land better than bottom of the table QPR. Coventry going for Lampard, a reminder of what could happen. But at the moment, nothing suggests to me that if they sack Marti that Nourry would replace him with better. Nourry's equity is currently sinking like a stone, and he is looking every part of the 26-year-old bullshitter putting even Beale's Powerpoints to shame. I thought he had started well, but the recent story regarding Vignal, is enough to send warning bells. The agency releasing the story was set up by Nourry. sportwitness.co.uk/qpr-considering-appointing-manager-option-had-been-close-to-joining-le-bris-at-sunderland/It may be that the guy is going to join Sunderland and not replace Marti, but the silence on the story from Nourry, is yet another tactical mistake. The biggest flaw in the story is that he was seen chatting to our owners at the game - the same owners who do not come near Loftus Road. It is trendy to replace managers in the international breaks, but I think Marti, should and will get longer. But does anyone on here trust Nourry and our owners to make the right decisions? If we lose to Stoke and Cardiff though, I think our owners will sack him, when Nourry and Belik are just as culpable.

Yes for sure we have to be careful what what we wish for and we all want Marti to go on a three game winning run… His post match press conferences though are starting to warp into Ainsworths. If we don’t beat Stoke , I think he probably has to go. No home win in nine home matches would be pretty solid evidence that most owners would move after this. We have already broken a record with no win in eight home games. When we have lost, there has not been an ounce of improvement the next game to put in a stronger performance. It’s just like rolling along at the same pace. I don’t rate Nourry for sure and don’t even know what Belik has done for the club if honest? I just don’t know where the heck our goals are going to come from for the next 30 matches.
January to May we had Dykes, Armstrong and Frey upfront, to now we have just Frey and Celar, this was the biggest mistake the Club made all summer, this and not resigning Hayden. Celar is like a ghost up there, no threat to defenders at all, if Armstrong was not a prolific finisher at least he made defences scared of him, Celar is weak , his finishing not clinical at all. At some point he will score a goal but really at this stage should be on 4-5 minimum with the chances he has had.
