1—thwarted ,yet again, by an opposition keeper, ex QPR too 2–ripped to pieces, yet again, by an opposition winger 3–another woeful defensive display 4— lifeless performance that only woke up when 2 goals down 5–Marti post match comments like performance in 4. Living in Spain I know how a Spanish manager would have reacted . 6—5 year contract, oh dear
Feel free to add

We don't know that it's a 5 year contract do we?

Yes. Spanishal I share your concerns.
Basically in my view only Dembele and Nardi of the influx of new signings we have made are up to standard and we do have some injuries....but who would have thought it possible to sign a striker worse than Dykes or Armstrong?
Really tough times ahead but I still have hope that we can avoid relegation. Long way to go yet.

Nourry is learning on the job and dropping some big clangors. I wonder if he is big enough to admit it. We also have to look at Belik. We are not told very much, but we were told that Belik has more responsibility than is usual at other clubs. It remains to be seen how much sway that Marti had in the Summer though. Marti would have said what he wanted / needed - we are fed mere crumbs by the new set up, but at best, recruitment is collaborative, but it may be Belik / Nourry who were mugged off by overseas agents. It is certainly looking as if we have overpaid. But Marti was told that we were selling Paal, and then we loaned out his back up. We started with 2 strikers only - Kolli stated the first game and then something happened, and he is no longer the third striker it seems. The failure to communicate with the fan base is now coming back to haunt Nourry. But for me, Marti still has enough equity after last season. In terms of the new players: Nardi - an upgrade Santos - he had little or no cover last night and was played out of position against their best player (was he really our best option?) but he looks woeful. Morrison - looked ok, but been injured, so we have hardly seen him. Madsen - Expensive, and struggled to settle. He may develop, but looks lightweight against the big boys in this division. His ditribution has been ok though. Varane - Another expensive outlay, who looks to be settling quicker than Madsen. Not as good as Hayden though. Dembele - started ok, but form has dropped off as the team has struggled. Part of our mini-brigade who cannot defend. But I like him. Saito - I like him - but part of our munchkins (Chair, Smith, Dembele & Saito) Cellar - He confuses me. A proven international striker who cannot score for us. Thought recently he had 2 better games and was unlucky to not beat Dieng last night. His hold up play is as good as Dykes (low bar maybe). But expensive and must be low on confidence. Shepperd - why? Morgan - It says a lot that the most impressive newcomer has been a kid and free transfer. But it is not a great return, and much harder to settle when the team is struggling, and heads drop. Looks gloomy though...

If Celar, Madsen and Varane left tomorrow it wouldn’t be soon enough , all three are shocking lazy Championship players. Can’t be bothered , hardly tackle , more worries about their hair going out of place than grafting. Most important job to do in the close season was to sign Hayden, the inability to do so has cost our midfield points after points. We are dreadful before the injuries came so what happens in the next few weeks I won’t dare wonder. But it would not surprise me if a team put six or seven past us. This team has less goal threat than Ainsworth team, that to me is mind blowing and shows Incompetence from our owners and Manager.
So with a defence full of injuries and firepower equivalent to a League two club, we know what’s coming. Played 8 games at home out of 14 so you could argue the 10 points from 42 is worse than Ainsorths or at least on par with the 8 from 42. With 3 away games coming in the next four matches we will be 24th and my bet is have less points probably than the first 18 matches last season.
Well done QPR you deserve a medal, we are totally embarrassing to watch.

They are an embarrassment and an affront to everything good and decent about football.
I feel for Marti. I think he’s a good manager saddled with a collective bunch of wasters who appear to be at least a league higher than their level.
I genuinely think this team, as currently constituted, would be mid League 2 at best. Unless performances vastly improve and we score some goals, preferably more than 1 in the same game, I can’t see us winning another game until next season in League 1.
