I see there was no Cambridge League Cup thread. Probably because most fans know we don't do Cups so nobody bothered to start one.
Take a seat and a stiff drink one and all, we won! Can someone with contacts at the club please let the players know that we don't do Cups! Jokes aside great to get a win after the dismal loss to WBA.

We were really poor. Just like on Saturday, we allowed the opposition to pass around us and we were very lucky to win. Anderson was booked for a senseless foul and was hooked at half time. Field replaced him and had one of his poorest games. Opting to go back instead of forward. Slipping and sitting on the ball, claiming for non-existent fouls. Cambridge keeper at fault for both our goals. Frey from a long way out, and then Smyth rewarded for his non-stop running. Shame his decision making is so poor. Walsh decided to even it out and when playing out from the back passed straight to the opposition, and Cambridge were back in it - they hit the post twice. The longer the game went on, the poorer Dixon-Bonner became. Dykes came on in midfield and was invisible. Cellar came on and yet again was very poor. Not many positives but: Morrison did well. Lloyd looked a handful. Dunne was ok Apart from costing us the goal, Walsh did well with 2 very good saves. We did not pick up any noticeable injuries. The biggest irony, we actually won a cup match that we really did not deserve to do.
