Chelsea - definition of a basket club. They could nearly fill a team full of goalkeepers and continue to spend. With a small stadium in comparison to others now in the Prem how do they avoid PSR rules? Oh yes that dodgy accounting loophole when they sold off their hotel! I really hope they miss out of Europe this year and then forced to sell next summer! How their fans can get an emotional tie with players where so many come and go is beyond me - putting the rivalry aside , they have to be the hardest team to support given how they run things now.

the FA wont do anything abut it, its too easy to go after smaller clubs that dont have the big time lawyers

Hitman, in my experience that club is easy to support when it wins. I'm generalising here, but most of their supporters, particularly the younger ones, are after the kudos which comes with winning all the time. They don't really care how it comes about. They were happy to have people like Drogba and Hazard falling over in the box to win penalties for them. "The ref gave it" was what I heard many times. It would be interesting to see how the average number of penalties they get per season has changed since the introduction of VAR. They were happy winning 1-0 most weeks under Mourinho. As for Europe, I hope they don't make the Champions' League, but don't mind if they make one of the lesser competitions as long as they don't win it. Let them have the hassle of playing Thursday and Sunday most weeks.
Surrey, you're probably right. Let's see what happens regarding Man City.
