Kolli looks very involved and quick. The hair is a nice touch too.
Frey with some almost great idea passes.

I guess I’m the only one watching today. The rest of you are at the match! I’m jealous! Missed it by one week.
I think we played well in the first half. The conceded goal was a passing clinic by Spurs finished off by a world class move. Not much any team or goalie could have done there without fouling in the box.
Kolli and Chair on the field at the same time could be scary. Kolli needs to work on using his left foot more, but other than that, he has pace and isn’t afraid to shoot.

Loyd and Santos look to be the real deal too. We have options boys!
Nardi is a keeper! Yes, pun intended. Made a number of massive saves. 0-2 is a bit unfair, IMO, because we had the shots. We had possession. I think our second shift looked better than their second shift by a long shot.
My prediction is the result will be different next weekend.

The excitement is there for sure! When I went to the team store years ago, it was just my wife and I.
When I went last week (both Friday and Saturday) there were plenty of folks buying up gear. There is optimism for sure!

For a preseason it was agoof game of football, I cant fault any of our players they all pit in a dhift. Kholi stood out for me, definatly one fot the future and I think we will see him though the season. Frey looks fitter. Only negative was Santos he just looked lost a lot of the time

I went to the match yesterday along with few Spurs family members!
Typical pre-season friendly so not a lot to draw from it, but at least it was better than the trip to Oxford last year.
Spurs were there for the taking given at times they only played with 1 recognised defender. With Skipp and Gray at CB for the first half, Frey was able to bully them a bit and had a decent half - took his disallowed goal well.
Smyth and Kolli looked good in the first half. Kolli has a big season and should be a good understudy/replacement for Chair when he needs to serve his community hours. It is clear we need to add an extra body in the wide positions, ideally a left footer to give more balance to the squad, as we have not replaced Willock or Albert in terms of squad depth.
Keeper looked decent, made some nice saves and command of area. Seems to come out quickly to sweep up which should provide more confidence to our back four, particularly Dunne and Cook who aren't the quickness, when teams hit balls over the top.
Second half Spurs made a complete change and us only 1 and I feared they would go on a smash a few past us as we started to tire. However, when we made the raft of changes, this certainly gave us more energy, and Spurs (relatively inexperienced team in 2nd half) started to lose their grip on the game. We deserved at least a goal from our pressure in the last 10-15 minutes - some good signs there.
I liked Lloyd (can beat a man, pacey but needs time to work on this final ball/decision making, as you would expect) who physically seems he could be an interesting player off the bench, or if we sign a few more, then out on loan to a league club. Bennie also physically looked like he could be a useful option this season.
Santos did look lost, I agree, and I expect he might have minimal English judging by the coaching instructions taken during the game - but maybe I was wrong.
Overall decent effort against a poor Tottenham squad defensively wise - they need to make 4-5 more signings if they want to challenge top 4 again.
The squad is taking shape but we still need 1-2 attacking midfielders to play behind the lone striker, and a centre mid to replace the gap in the squad after Hodge and Hayden left. I don't see another striker coming in, unless Dykes moves on, since we have Frey, Dykes and Celar for one place, and Kolli can play up there too. We also need to add more pace to the team/squad, which has been apparent for the last few seasons, but pace combined with a football brain/understanding! We have the quantity upfront but time will tell if its the quality - Dykes missed a great chance from a few yards out so not much changed there!
