I’ll be there next week (11th-13th) and will be heading to Loftus Road to hit up the store and take some pictures.
Is there a local pub in the area for QPR supporters? If so, I’m interested in grabbing a pint or two. Or more 🤷🏻♂️
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! I did see that one, The White Horse, and the Queen’s Tavern, I just did’t know if there were any personal recommendations. I may check that one out. I don’t mind the walk, I’ll probably put in 10 miles a day, so I’m good. |

The White Horse is always popular with home fans too, its on the Uxbridge Road not far from Shepard's Bush Market

Well I’ll be taking the Tube to the white city stop and walking from there to the stadium. After that, I’ll head to the shepard’s bush area. I’ll be sure to post when I’m about to head out if any of you wanted to rub it in that the US fell flat while England is still playing, over a pint. Heck( if you can bring yourself to say that the US squad is really good but it’s our coach that sucks, the pint will be on me!😂
Well, hopefully England is still playing by that point. You all have my support!

As the most popular and main pre match Pub venue for R's supporters The Conningham Arms has long since lost that status over the past 12 years or so. Quite a few of the stalwarts back then are now deceased or have moved abroad or have simply drifted away from the place........and lets face it the facilities although improved do not really compare with other Local QPR Pubs

Yes Andy. The Conningham Arms status as a high profile QPR supporters Pub has vanished into the ether of time.
I believe Michael Whelan sometimes still goes in there....but many others still around such as Kim and her Mum, Zico, Derbyhoops Pete Higgs, Alex Kidd Steve Russell and myself do not. Also QPR MAL (He of the Groucho Marx avatar) has not been spotted at the venue for at least the last 13 years....Is he still in the Land of the Living I wonder?

Now at the Crown & Scepter. Definitely more of a restaurant feel. Smells good so I may order up some food!
And in case you all are wondering, I got kicked out of the superstore because they were closing, so I had to check out with what I already had. I may have to come back out tomorrow, I felt rushed!😂

I wrapped up the night at the Defector’s Weld.
Of the three, I can honestly say I’d frequent White Horse for the most part. Just the general atmosphere was great!
On a different note, my goodness has South Africa road changed in 10 years. There were at least 2-3 new buildings. I hardly recognized the area. The dormant turf field I remember (before you get to the stadium) had hundreds of people on it playing various matches. Some with refs!!!
What a great day!

I’m doing the Wembley stadium tour. They have photos of ever FA cup final except a few. Yep, one of the few would be our win. Where’s the love!?!

I leave early in the morning. I had a blast! It was great to meet some of the fans in the super store. I hope to be back much sooner next time and to catch a match.
In the mean time, let’s beat the brakes off of the spurs!!!
