Never could stand him, and it used to annoy me when our fans sang his name. He has always been clear that he only joined QPR for the money, and then was a disruptive influence in the dresing roon. Another Fernandes vanity project.

Love him or hate him - this is not football, it is not QPR, he is not a "legend" except for the wrong reasons, left us 10 years ago.
Time to move on , forget about arguments over Twitter posts that have nothing to do with and no reflection on the club.- more interested to know what our current (and future) players are doing and saying.
If Chair gets 2 years in jail what will we see posted here "silly boy" "made a mistake" What's the difference? Sticks and stones ..........

I think we are all guilty of applying dual standards. We all chose to believe that Chair was probably innocent (partly because he claimed mistaken identity - only to then plead guilty!). But we desperately needed him last season, and so it suited us to excuse / ignore / pretend so that he could play. I recall the relief on this board when he was free to play again, and one poster wanting to change his prediction after the match because he did not know Chair was going to be available. What Chair has admitted to is pretty bad stuff, we cannot condone it. But Barton's history, and what he continues to do, makes me think that at some point he will end up inside. He cannot help himself it seems. But I understand that it is not current to QPR, but he remains very much part of our history, and our unwanted heritage.
