It would appear that we may have extended him so that we can sell him, as there has been no progress on a new deal. Adam Leventhal @adamleventhal New: #QPR have rejected formal offers for Sinclair Armstrong from UK & overseas. Club today announced trigger of extension, but only 1yr option & talks over longer deal haven't advanced. Sale of 20yo Ireland int striker likely. Details ⬇️ @theathleticfc the72.co.uk/2024/06/12/qpr-sinclair-armstrong-championship-keen/

Whether that would be to mean we could sell him now and raise some cash or whether it is a case of giving him one more year to prove himself. He has been lapping around the edges of the first team for a couple of season now in increasing lengths of on pitch time. With all his effort and scaring the hell out of defenders he has contributed but he really has not been scoring which should be his main job. Not too sure that will meet what Marti wants from him or how he wants to line up. Sadly I think it best for player and club to sell him now, get a bit of cash and free a squad place - all we need then is to find a couple of goal scorers
