Plus a good message from Nourry to the fans in the middle of the article.
I can imagine a few cynics saying it is all b******t but I give him credit for an articulate message which shows he understands what the club and fans are about.

Plus a good message from Nourry to the fans in the middle of the article. I can imagine a few cynics saying it is all b******t but I give him credit for an articulate message which shows he understands what the club and fans are about. I wonder, is it possible for something to be b******t and true at the same time? Nourry seems to have the knack of writing some eloquent prose at times (e.g. when players depart) that treads very close to the b******t crossover. As regards the crowd, I do believe that it made a tremendous difference at times. Our season's home form was poor, and at times the tension in the crowd was so high it transcended to the players and performance, and yet when the fans got behind the team, it made the hairs on the back of one's neck stand on end. It is also the case that despite everything, those attending games never really turned on Ainsworth. Even at the Leicester home game there was good support for him. For some time, we looked like we were going to get something out of that game, and I remember being conflicted. Had we beaten the runaway league leaders, Gareth would have escaped the chop, and yet the football had been dreadful. In hindsight, the club had already decided before that game anyway. But a reasonable increase in season ticket cost. Even though I will probably make fewer games thanks to Sky, I have renewed our three season tickets.

Christian Nourry - "....As we look to take the club in a new direction, it is vital that the fans, the heart of QPR, are a central part of it...." "The identity of a football club is forged from its supporters. For QPR, that means passion and incredible unity. The silver lining of a very challenging year was that it reminded anyone that needed reminding just how special the QPR fans are. Fighting relegation, experiencing a season nobody wanted to experience, the QPR supporters filled the stadium. The message from you was heard loud and clear by the management team and the players – we are here for you, we are behind you. As we look to take the club in a new direction, it is vital that the fans, the heart of QPR, are a central part of it. Thank you for all your support so far and I hope you can look forward to the 2024/25 campaign with excitement." Christian Nourry www.qpr.co.uk/news/2024/may/14/season-tickets-2425/
