I recall him well as a star half back/ central defender from the 1960's era.

One of our most underrated CB's individually and in his partnership with Ron Hunt although times have changed.
Played with him once in a practice match, was there to see his home debut and practically every game he played for us afterwards.
So sad these days it seems everyday I read of another of our players from that era passing on or just other players I grew up watching.
Makes me feel old ....and worried

PS get that Convivia ad off his shirt in the photo. They no longer exist and have nothing to do with him.
