Calling an official (Attwell) a cheat........a pretty big statement.
I recall when they won promotion against Huddersfield they did it with the aid of John Moss & VAR...but hey-ho.
Surely there will be ramifications.

Will probably get away with a warning or 10k pitiful fine.

After their rule breaking around FFP and buying promotion they are not in the best place to criticise and a bit unwise when appeals are still being held. Not the best way to win friends and influence people especially going on X rather than direct dialogue with the PL and refs.

Personally I would dock them 10 points or so and get them relegated.

On a similar note a number of teams at the bottom of the Championship could be making some comments and asking for the bank account of the Blackburn goalkeeper to be audited. Two of the most ridiculous bits of play from a keeper I have ever seen handed the points to Sheffield. One "mistake" of that extreme type could be put down to bad luck - two in the same game ?

Blackburn deserve to go down after that disgrace.

Attwell was of course the ref who allowed the infamous Luton goal against Watford, when it has missed by a foot.
Watford fans never forgotten him but in good voice this morning!
