How does dykes get another start. It’s not like playing with a false 9 like playing with no 9. Both his first touch and work rate is woeful.

We don’t score many so this will be a tough ask to get anything from this now. We can only hope 2 out of Birmingham, Sheff Weds and Huddersfield lose.
Begovic could have been better positioned for both I thought but we had a high line for 2nd goal so he was on edge of area, when if closer to line JCS would have had time for a tackle or striker would have had to shoot earlier.

We are second to every ball. Hull on top without needed to get near top gear
Work rate looks ok with everyone except dykes who looks lethargic . Rest of the team thrashing around with little effect . Cannot blame Begovic this week
Might as well throw Armstrong on

"international" forward Smyth missed 2 sitters at Plymouth and the same yesterday with a golden chance to get back into the game before they scored a third. He even managed to dribble round the keeper and still not manage to kick it hard enough to go over the line. Put Dunne or Clarke-Salter up front against Preston - we have enough defenders to cover and our CB's seem to be better at scoring than our our strikers ... or Chair or Wilcock |
