Awful performance, the worst of Marti’s reign so far and got what we deserved.
Absolutely typical QPR this.

Typical QPR, chance to get out of it and straight back in it, shocking performance. We could send on five attackers and they wouldn’t score. Sinclair and Dykes are not Championship level forwards. After watching a crap performance like Huddersfield score in 90+5 so make it worse.

The first goal was always going to be key. But we got what we deserved. Sheffield Wed wasted so much time, even before the goal. The ref warned the keeper 5 times, and yet no card. But we were poor...

Do we have the luxury of being poor. I think we’ll stay up, but that really was a typical QPR performance after the last few weeks worth of results. Wednesday wanted it far more than us and we totally got what we deserved. Sadly, this type of performance is never far away with this lot.

I’m not so sure of staying up after that. Tuesday is a huge game, today we just did not want to lose it, same for Tuesday, get a draw minimum We lost again and on paper our four matches are tougher than anyone else and we would be hovering over drop zone.

As I posted in the struggling at the bottom thread I had a bad gut feel this would happen and we had more chance of beating Plymouth than winning yesterday.
My thinking was Wednesday would be battling and either we would hit a wall oof nerves knowing a win would almost certainly be enough to ensure we stay up plus crowd expectancy - so we froze imo. That actually gives me hope we will pick up etc points at Plymouth and Hull that we need. Other results did not help but there a still a couple below us on terrible runs. Our problem is taking that last step over the line to safety. Letting SW do the double over us is a joke.
So what happened, luckily I did not see it but reading between the lines we maybe rotated a little too much knowing we have 2 games in so short a space of time, maybe the players were either over confident and relaxed or maybe they froze. I was surprised that we started with Armstrong especially after recent Marti comments that he is a better off the bench impact player than a starter and maybe we should have made changes at halftime instead of waiting to concede. If only we had a striker! Still a long way to go but given reports of yesterday's performance doubts have set in and anything could happen.
The only thing I know is that if we do go down we I will be gutted for most of the players and especially for the manager after what he has achieved to even give us a chance to stay up and will never forgive Armit and Ainsworth for the train wreck of. the start of the season that put us in this position. Only positive is that the end of season will not be boring bt I can do without that. We need a couple of wins now and with 6 pointers being played around us we will drop a place or two immediately if we do not get a win.
Still upward and westwards to Plymouth who I regard as a bit of a bogey team - lets see.

I don't think it was about rotating. Frey and Colback are both injured and doubtful for Tuesday. Armstrong worried them with his pace, but it meant a change of style. We kept hooking the ball over the top for him instead of playing to feet. Dykes was invisible when he came on. But the real issue is that the team cannot cope with the aggressive high press. We stood off and hardly pressed. Bannon was everywhere, picking up the ball off the back 4 unmarked. It is as if we did not learn from the away match. Marti is still learning, and certain managers are able to outthink him at the moment. He took full responsibility for the poor show. I was surprised that Sheffield could maintain the high press. I did wonder if we were hoping they would run their legs off as a tactic - it was that of a contrast. A couple had unusually poor games. Field was culpable for both goals. Hayden had one of his poorest games. But perhaps that was because we were not playing to our strengths. Anderson is classy, but he does not like it when the ref allows / encourages the aggressive press. Could have been different if Anderson's shot off the bar had bounced in - but fine margins. Where I do agree, we need a striker. Even in the warmup, Dykes' shooting was woeful, he has never been prolific, but he appears to have gone backwards since Marti arrived. The ref was very frustrating yesterday... and he is supposed to be a Prem ref! Perhaps they rely on VAR now and their judgement is shot? Another aspect was that Sheffield turned us around for the first half to attack the Loft. This is something that rarely happens, most teams now respect the home team's wishes and just opt for kick off. Wednesday do not do that. It actually has quite an impact, because the home crowd lift the team in the second half at the Loft end. Marti mentioned that we did not start playing until we went behind. Surprised that more teams do not do this, but glad they do not. On to Plymouth.

I was at the game and I was shocked to witness a truly awful performance from the R's. This was as bad as any of those dire games under the management of Ainsworth. We did not attempt to play much decent football. Mind you to play decent football first you have to get hold of the ball which was something we failed to do for most of this encounter.
Further more it is of no use employing as our main attacking tactic a hoof ball up the field to an isolated lone striker whether it be Armstrong Dykes or Frey. This does not work. We have already proved this strategy is a failure under the previous manager. Stop it! Work the ball! We have been doing this of late. Why revert to a philistine style??
The sad truth of the matter is that on the day we were outplayed and yes even out classed on our own ground by a poor Sheffield Wed. team one of the favourites for relegation.
OK sure defeats do happen when not expected but displays of this nature in our current plight should most certainly not
