It is an interesting development. It is unrealistic to expect such a huge capital inject unless there is a plan with some substance. All about West London, so no out of town move on the agenda. Possibly the complete rebuilding of Loftus Road, or maybe after all this time there is an alternative site. But certainly, a sniff of something stirring.

I wonder if the council have finally come round to the redevelopment of Linford Christy? If QPR have approached it right and actually talked to the council about a joint project that benefits all then its a realistic site. I cant see how they can redevelopment LR to give us any more capacity given that we get dispensation each year for the pitch to be as close to the stands as it is.

To expand Loftus Road, They'd have to buy out the houses at the Loft end and the Ellerslie Road side, flatten them and expand the stands accordingly. Jim Gregory had that opportunity but decided not to take it.
