Very complicated situation it seems. So Leicester communicated that they will be in breech this season. EFL inform them that they need to take steps / agree a business plan etc as is the case. Leicester respond that the rules do not apply to them because they have been a Prem side for 2 of the 3 years. It all gets heavy, and Leicester take on the EFL and win the appeals. EFL mighty annoyed and announce that they will be changing their own FFP rules for the future. Meanwhile, Leicester will escape any points deduction or penalty for their breech. The EFL has lost all ends up. How embarrassing! Just one more crazy FFP situation, and one more example of how the relegated clubs gain advantage in the Championship.
