brilliant win. It was a backs against wall performance with some great defending. 2 well taken goals. Bring on West Brom!

Marti must wonder what we must do to start pulling away 5 wins , 2 draws and 1 loss in our last 7…. Need to keep it going but proud of the effort from the team and coaches of late, outstanding.

Went to game and delighted with those 3 points against a strong, but out of form team. Looked generally comfortable throughout as Leicester struggled to get in behind our low block. Lots of sideways passes, but main game plan was for them to get it wide to their winger, cut in and shoot. We blocked a lot and defended so well. Clarke-Salter, proving when fit, that he is one of best defenders in the league - the only good thing coming out of Beale’s brief spell. Both him and Cook were outstanding and Paal had a much better game. Nice move for goal and good to see Willock get more minutes under his belt. Andersen showed some nice and composed touches but clearly not yet fit to do 90. He will be an important asset for the run-in. Begovic bad error for goal - could have held it or at least push to the right and not back to centre of box. He needs replacing next season regardless of which division we play in. With the other results, it is now possible we might need more than 50 to stay up so I am looking for 4 more wins and a few draws. Lots of games between the teams around us so they can’t all keep picking up 3 points. Massive two games at home now, keep the run going! Stanley was shining down on us today, I am sure!

We are a much better team with Cisfuentes. Also a miracle maker as he keeps playing Ilias on a long furlough from the Scrubs

Lots of games between the teams around us so they can’t all keep picking up 3 points. Massive two games at home now, keep the run going! Stanley was shining down on us today, I am sure! I envy you being there yesterday, but it was so nervy as the clock ticked away. When we missed that late Chair chance, I did start to wonder. The second goal was so welcomed, but Begovic's reaction to their free kick was poor - and Cook had a right go at him - a sort of captain reversal there. He surely will be gone next season, and in many ways it is a shame that we have not been able to see what Walsh is capable of. Throwing him in to high pressure games is a stern test, but he seemed to do ok out on loan. But in June we have 4 keepers out of contract: Begovic, Archer, Walsh & Mahoney. Yesterday it was Walsh on the bench. Mahoney did well at Swindon until the season ending injury. Today though, we were linked with our first replacement keeper. the72.co.uk/2024/03/03/qpr-keen-on-move-for-international-goalkeeper-reporter-claims/Three wins on the trot, including away to the runaway leaders. We know what happens next with QPR... I guess we have to be grateful we are not playing Rotherham on Wednesday, with their record it would have been a banker for us to screw it up all the more. WBA in very good form, no room for complacency at all, but good to enjoy a Sunday morning feeling! Fixtures remaining are baffling. So many teams dragged into now, so all playing each other. All the lower teams currently winning. It is hard to detect who the favourites for the drop are, or how many points represent safety this season.

Our new manager is a "thinker"
Compare this to Ainsworth of the managerial Philistine strategy....and Warburton of the lets not bother too much about defensive strategy
