Yes we never seem to perform in the 6 pointers! Offered nothing since Smyth shot in first couple of minutes.

Deserve to get relegated and have pretty much signed our own death warrant tonight.

Crunch games this team never turns up, pathetic. Four games where we get in a position to pull back and then in one crap game put us back to where we were five games. Roll your sleeves up for heavens sake. No killer instinct. To fail to score against this Stoke team is a shambles

We cannot survive when we fail at every important game. Really disappointed with that tonight.

Too p*sped off to talk about this tonight. Marti deserves better though and so do the fans. Right now I couldn’t care less if none of these players are here next season.

Seems that the dreadful “sideways” football we play is embedded into QPR DNA. We all know that’s not how Marti wants them to play and he must get more frustrated than we are. Can’t see him hanging around if relegated, he deserves a much better standard of football than that.

Couldn’t get a result at a team that had scored two goals at home in eight matches, sums us up the last few years. Half expecting Rotherham to rock up at our place Saturday week and turn us over.

Feels like we got relegated last night

Feels like we got relegated last night Yes, I was so despondent, there was nothing in it for 47 minutes, but I never thought we would break them down once we conceded to yet another set piece routine. How does Colback end up marking two players (badly) at the far post? Even a really poor side like Stoke can put 11 men behind the ball and frustrate us. When we conceded before half time, I predicted a second half of them sitting back and holding on. It is hard to break teams down who do that, but I thought the one hope we had was if we got a set piece with Anderson on the pitch. But we did not get one set piece other than corners, and Paal continued to take them. I suspect that even if we had got a dangerous free kick, Chair would have belted it into the wall or high and wide. To that end, I think that if the roles had been reversed, Stoke would have been throwing themselves on the floor for set pieces, whereas we just kept blasting balls into defenders - so one shot on target! Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. We have so many opportunities to get out of the bottom 3 and blown it every time. It really is the hope that kills. We never do well at Ashton Gate, and they have now found form. So Rotherham will be a must win game, and we know how that goes. So i agree with Surrey, sadly!

The 2 things that slightly annoyed me (apart from the performance and result) are:
1. Marti telling the players pre game that it was not a season deciding game - the Stoke manager took the opposite approach. Maybe kicking our players up the backside before the game rather than playing it down to take off the pressure might be better but we blow hot and cold and I would not be surprised to see us run out 4 wins on the bounce in March against much tougher teams than Stoke.
2. Why are we still playing our goal machine Armstrong and leaving Frey and Andersen on the bench. I hope it is just because they are not up to full fitness yet and not some game plan to not make too many changes to the team. We all knew we needed a striker during the window, manage to sign one but so far only playing him in cameos from the bench. Hopefully by the time we reach the next game things will have changed.

Feels like we got relegated last night Yes, I think this was the game that has decided our fate for this season. Unless there's a points deduction for one of the teams just above us I can't see us getting out of this now. I know you are supposed to be optimistic until it's mathematically impossible to stay up, but this club has demonstrated every time that they cannot win high stakes big pressure games. If you can't do that you have no chance of staying up, so it's hard to see how there can be any other outcome now. If I'm brutally honest I think it's exactly what this club deserves. It's been coming for years, it's just a shame it's going to happen on Marti's watch.

I get what you are saying, we do deserve relegation for years of mismanagement, but in recent months with new CEO, Marti coming in, new training ground everything felt like it was going in right direction so dont feel like that for the current regime.

Marti, yes, as I said he deserves better. Maybe the new CEO too But the players are spineless, weak as p*ss wasters and bottlers. I've pretty much had it with them now. Like I said, I don't care if none of these are back here next season, there's not one of them has covered themselves in any glory. Every time they get a chance to help themselves they sh*t the bed and then follow that up by vomiting all over themselves. Nice new training ground, yeah that's lovely. But it means eff all if the players pay no attention to the training and make the same effing mistakes every game conceding from the same type of set piece again and again.
