dykes playing deep seems to suit him, it was his great touch thar set the goal up. Not the best of first halves but I'll take it. Armstrong is till so raw.

So at which point do we think the 2 set piece goals in 3 minutes for Millwall will come?

Massive three points!
Beat Huddersfield next and we can start to believe!!
Happy for Sinc to get his goal today too. A performance that showed we had done our homework on the opposition and have a tactically adept manager who can actually play players in their best positions.

Colback came good today. An exceptional performance. It’s crucial to keep him fit and not picking up cards.

Good that we did to Millwall today, what they did to us on Boxing Day. The first 20 minutes was full of schoolboy errors by both sides, but the first goal gave us confidence. You never know what half time is going to do to change the pattern of the game, but Marti sent them out fired up again and Millwall never got going - they looked pretty poor throughout. Good to hear the support so vocal, singing Marti's name. There is a good appreciation of what he is trying to do with very limited resources. Our bench today was so weak. Our first 12 or 134 are decent, but any injuries and we look stuffed. Cook at the back make a huge difference. Good to see Colback, Dykes and Field perform well after some struggles.

I always thought if we could keep Cook and Colback fit we might stand a very slim chance. Let’s hope they can both keep in the team for 4-5 games. Good overall performance but it must be repeated next weekend, nothing less.

14 games in for Marti we have 16 points not too shabby with the demoralised and slim squad he inherited. In comparison Ainsworths 14 matches 8 points. So Marti running at double the rate to Ainsworth and at a full season rate of 52 points if he had a similar tally throughout the full season. The reason we may end up going down could still be the owners decision to start another fresh season with GA The shocking point rate of just over 1/2 a point a game for a third of the season is difficult to eradicate.
