Eze is in the provisional England squad at Rashford / Henderson expense. Great news. If he makes the final squad it will add so much more to the watching for me.

Yes there is add ons for England call ups Well none of really know how the add-ons work, but I did read that the next cash for us would be if he starts an England game. No idea if that is correct or not, but he has been selected before. I guess that there is still a chance that he will not even make the final squad, but he should be ahead of Maddison on current form. He may start one of the friendlies, but Bellingham and Palmer ahead of him for anything more meaningful.

Rumour at the time was that he needs to START an England game before we see any cash - even that sounds weird I would have thought a "plays 5 times" clause more logical.

I read an article that stated he earns us money on England caps played but it was not specific in amounts he played. One article even said we got 25% of the sale when most others stipulated 20. If he plays for England , his value goes up, his profile goes up, Palace can demand more for him so it’s a win win situation for us. At some point he will be sold over the next 2-3 seasons.

At some point he will be sold over the next 2-3 seasons. Unless a suitable buyer does not appear and he runs down his contract. Palace have put a price on his head but all the click bait is about is partner Olise

tothelaneandback.com/2024/06/04/tottenham-face-stumbling-block-in-pursuit-of-60m-english-star-player-likely-to-be-unhappy/Eze to Spurs seems to be gathering momentum. When we sold him to Palace we had a higher offer, but he wanted to remain in London and join Palace. So we accepted a lower fee in exchange for 20% of any sell-on. Palace have said that bidding has to start at £60m (E70m), but it seems that Eze wants to remain in London again and wants the Tottenham transfer. £12m to QPR if he makes the switch, so fingers crossed that he does not get crocked playing for England. Some papers suggesting the deal could go through before the Euros...and that would be nice! Hoos has previously said that one of the add-one for the original deal, was when he started an England game...possibly £500k. Eze, the gift that keeps on giving. I watched the England game just because he was playing and lost interest when he was substituted.

Daily Mail reporting that Eze has a release clause of £60m + £8m add-ons. First time I have seen that stated, but it would explain why Palace released their asking price early doors. At today's prices, provided he wants to move, hard to see that he will still be a Palace player come August. Unless of course he picks up a bad injury playing for England. I doubt he will get many minutes unless Bellingham or Foden pick up knocks, but £12m for QPR would be a complete game changer for this transfer window. We just need it to be sooner rather than later... www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13505223/Eberechi-Eze-release-clause-revealed-england-star-Premier-League-interest.html
