I thought we did, but possibly one that was a scramble on the line. We hit the post too. Dykes had 3 , possibly 4 shots on target but they were weak headers straight at the keeper. Kelman had one shot on target but that was from distance and easily saved. Apart from that I dont think the keeper was really troubled.

Depends how you view these things. 70% Possession, 29 shots, 10 on target.... But as I said on the other thread, when teams set up with 10 behind the ball, run it as a training exercise, work to block and frustrate, you need that bit of luck. A deflection, a keeper error, a mistake etc. I don't think that happened all night. Plymouth remained well drilled, and the ball never fell well to our attackers. Had we got that slice of luck, the game would have changed totally, although a major part of me says that Plymouth would have just gone an equalised, rather than us then catching them on the break. So yes and no!
