If True, he knows these situations so well, the players would have to be completely retarded not to take notice of what he says or wants them to do. They need to knuckle down and sort their crap out.

I think at this stage where we are 6 points adrift is pretty bad, it’s still no guarantee we stay up but GA would take us down, you can’t play every game with 20% possession.
Warnock would be a good appointment until May. I like Rowett and Eustace has done a good job but think at this Junction Warnock makes sense.
Remember where Hudds were last year Feb they were 23rd like us, 19 points from 14 was amazing. considering we are going at 0.5 points a game ..
(When Warnock arrived at Huddersfield on February 13, they were 23rd and just a point off the bottom. Since then, he took 19 points from 14 games, including five victories, enough to take them clear of the dotted line with two games to go.)
And of course Rotherham 2017 even better. He took over with Rotherham 22nd place, 6 points from safety with 16 games to go. He masterminded a 10-game unbeaten run, which saw them move 10 points clear of the drop zone and secure their place in the second tier.
Then there was Cardiff who were like us relegation fodder until he took over.

Welcome back Harr !
Well it had to be done but should have been done in the summer or very latest after Blackburn. I have said many times this is the first ever occasion I have called for a manager to be sacked so while sad for him, the club is more important.
Even after yesterday he was still saying we played well based on his stats, we had a plan (20% possession) that was working until the sending off, just as we have had a plan for each of the last 14 games that worked until we let in a goal or something, and of course "we have had a run of difficult games". All games in this league are difficult. The first worry for him is that at least publicly he cannot say or see that he was out of his depth and that playing 20% football for a season might get you a win or two but that's it - pure law of averages. But by hanging on this long and establishing probably the worst managerial record I can remember he may have trouble getting back into the game soon and certainly not at any decent level.
Since I started following football I have always looked at all the results and tables of all the divisions every week, especially which ever league we were in and studied and knew about different teams and players forms, which club was where and much more. I have to say that for the last couple of months I had stopped doing that and just took one glance at the table to see. how far adrift we were dropping. I really had no idea how strong Leicesters start was until the build up to yesterdays game. But this morning for the first time in ages I went back to my routine to look at the results forthcoming fixtures and the table in depth. Not a pretty sight but at least now I have some hope.
6 points off safety with 32 games to go - we have time and if we do say as Boro did put a run of 5 or 6 wins together the picture changes dramatically. A big issue is our goal difference which could be important if we stay near the bottom. We are the worst in the league and even under a new manager cannot see us becoming prolific scorers in the near future unless the new man can work some miracles or pick up a goal scorer in January.
So now we have to look forward. Recently I posted that I would shoot anyone who called for Warnock but maybe that is our best chance given the circumstances - can he do it one more time, age and fitness may be catching up but with the right assistants no problem. I believe we have enough talent in the squad that he can work with.
Rowett and Eustace are capable managers but their records show they take time to build - time and money we do not have as we need an immediate impact and the famous new manager bounce that every club seems to get apart from our selves. I see that Jones ex of Luton and Southampton is also mentioned - out of the frying pan with that one imo and also a nasty piece of work - still remember his comments because our players and fans had the cheek to celebrate scoring a goal at Luton. I would take Beale ahead of Jones.
Hoos says the new man will be announced "in the coming days" so I hope that means they have been working behind the scenes and have the man ready to sign today and start work on Monday or Tuesday - Massive game next weekend with Rotherham likely to pick up 3 points today, so lets go.
Sheff Wed now also banned from registering any players - even free agents as their owner got the hump for being criticised by fans and withdrew any future funding - lucky our Board have not done the same. Meanwhile 1,000 Reading fans marched from town to etc ground yesterday to protest against their owners so while we have not been alone in our troubles at least now we have taken action - the name of the next manager is the next big test.

Not that long ago Crystal Palace were bottom of the Championship at Christmas and went on to win the play-offs. You never know!

I think at this point, I would just take 21st place, guaranteed Championship football next season and a fresh three year cycle with FFP and take it from there. Anything else is a bonus. It still won’t be easy for the new Manager whoever it may be to get something at Rotherham. We potentially have Clarke Salter, Cook and Fox out and also Dozell, Colback and Armstrong. It’s just a case of trying to get as many back before Saturday. Although Rotherham also have an injury crisis. Would be good to pick up one win before the International break.
Today we could do with a Sheff Weds v Rotherham draw

Seems to me that of all the recent sackings it was Eustace that was the most unjustified thanks to American owners sheer ignorance. Rooney has hardly set the world on fire as a manager but oh yeah he’s “high profile” typical American BS. Don’t know if Eustace left us under a cloud or not but he has done a fair job at Brum and could do the same for us given the chance. I don’t agree with the Warnock firefighting approach, if we go down so be it. Would it be a titanic disaster — well look at Ipswich

No betting odds available on any of the sites. No announcement about who is in temporary charge. Think Ainsworth knew that he was gone looking at his press conferences. Decision apparently taken a week ago. It all says that an announcement is immanent, so I think that Warnock until the end of the season is a given. Warnock always talks to his press mates - he loves the teasing and dropping loud hints. Like when he left Huddersfield, on the Saturday he said that the announcement would be on the Monday.

I find it strange that people are talking down Warnock as short term.
Warnock is only short term in the way that all managers are short term. A manager lasting more than a season is in the minority both at QPR and everywhere else

However Eustace has done ok at Brum this season as he had the whole summer to build a team with windfall transfer cash and has had the time to develope the team. Coming here woul be totally different with no cash and very little time. Plus after the manner of his departure and Warburtons would he even be interested after all the “management splits” at that time. As for relegation we are in a different boat to Ipswich and more likely we would decline further or even fold completely. Simply too much debt and no way for a league 1 club to service it

Spanish coach Martí Cifuentes is a contender for the #QPR job. Has impressed at Hammarby in Sweden where he has led his club to European football. As reported by @jburttelegraph the club have targeted Neil Warnock during their recruitment process in the last days 1:59 PM · Oct 30, 2023 · Lots of stories - clickbait?

Sky report seems pretty certain. Our third attempt to sign him, but presumably his release clause is less this time. Or perhaps the stadium money is being spent to sign a longer term replacement than Warnock. I wonder if we did approach Warnock though. I could imagine him asking for a substantial bonus on survival - just like Big Sam always does. Cifuentes is in the dugout tonight, saying his goodbyes, but an announcement could be as early as this evening, but he will be in the dugout for the Rotherham game.....according to Sky Breaking News.

Who is he? this board are complete lunatics. This Hoo`s ( what a stupid name ) needs to vacate the building along with the rest of them. Looks like we are heading down, and tbh i dont think we would come back up. But that will not bother the likes of them sinking the ship, as they will be well stocked up.

Just a though but shall we give the fella a chance before we write it all off? Looking at what I can find on Google (Admittedly is only a few articles) he has done well at every team he has managed even when he has lost players so the club can balance the books. He wants to play football and we have the players to do that. He is n an upwards trajectory in his career and he must see us as an opportunity to take the next step which is fine with me as long as he doesn't do a Beale and jump ship before he even gets going. Personally I will be backing him on Saturday (But I do agree with you about Hoo).

Warnock is never going to be a long term manager, and as much as i like him i feel we have enough time left to get us out of this mess left by GA. So i will get behind him and see how he does, and more importantly to me anyway, is the honesty shown in his post match reports. We have had enough sugar coating crap for a life time, we need a manager who tells it like it is.
