Can anyone explain?
Smyth struggled defensively as a wing back for us pre the international break. He then went for his first start as a full international and was played in his true position in the front line. Within 15 minutes he scored, created another and had one ruled out.
So he came back to us and rather than learning that he is better played further forward he does not even get a look in for our starting 11 - assume GA rates Albert as a better wingback and Kelman better upfront than Smyth.
Ho Hum
At least the fans will see Richards at last if only on the bench but it is a step forward which hopefully for him will just be a start.

Am I right that 13 games in and we have already had Field and Coback suspended, Dunne twice and now Dozzell plus Armstrong one yellow off suspension. We can't win a game with 11 so what chance with only 10 on the pitch. Is this the fighting spirit GA wants?

Surely that must be it, out of his depth is the understatement of the decade. This is now beyond farcical, i want the whole board and GA on the same bus out of town.

I reckon Ainsworth will get the Rotherham game. We'll lose and be adrift of them too. Missed a trick with the stadium name . Surely MADRAGE would of been more suitable from a fans perspective. 🤔

We weren’t annihilated by a landslide of goals, that’s the best we can say.

Just been chatting with a Sheff Wed fan, they've had 3 managers since getting promoted. Changing managers isn't always the answer.Like Sheff Wed, our problems lay much deeper!

They do, it at least give yourself a fighting chance by getting someone in who is tactically sound and can get the best out of players. The football and mindset behind it is truly awful.

Well....we lost and that is the bottom line. A few thoughts from the ground. The crowd were supportive throughout, very vocal. No negativity - I was pleasantly surprised. Even when we went behind, our heads did not drop - unlike Tuesday. Although Leicester had 82% possession in the first half, they did very little with it - reminded me of when we used to pass the ball around at the back. Chair worked very hard - trying to impress the only team to ever show interest in him - off to join them in January? It was a strange set up and selection. I take it Armstrong was injured. I thought we just about deserved to be level at half time - given their goal was a deflection (again). Begovic's distribution is woeful - why is a goalkeeper our captain anyway? Dozzell was as stupid as Dunne was on Tuesday. It was the right decision for two yellow cards. It changed everything - although they did keep going. The decision to send on Willock for 4 minutes was baffling. Taylor Richards on the bench even though (apparently) he has been liking Tweets for Ainsworth's dismissal - his reward, an unused substitute. I thought that was the best set of officials all season. It was a defeat that hardly hurt at all - unlike most trips over the last year. I expected far more pain.
