Rob Dickie sent off for Bristol City on Saturday for a typically daft clumsy second yellow. Dieng had little chance with the Huddersfield goal - but not having it easy. Mahoney (loan) let in a last-minute penalty in a 5-5 draw with Wrexham. The increasingly unpleasant Charlie Austin scored and had an assist. Masterson cannot get into a Gillingham side with 100% record. Substitute only.

Charlie Owens playing for Boreham Wood. Luke Amos still without a team, was trialing with Reading before their embargo.

Andre Grey a free agent having been released by his current team in Greece. 32 years old. Scored goals but very poor attitude. No thanks but wonder where he roll up next.

Hypothetical question . If Ainsworth was given the choice to sign one player either Martin or Grey who would he go for. They are polar opposites in most respects. Martin for attitude and effort and likely cheaper , Grey for better skill and pace and likely more expensive?
More likely leave it down to Armstrong and Kolli.
Plus Balogan not even on the bench for G R's today - probably injured but hey ho the grass is not always greener as Mr. Bean and team are being booed off by their own fans after losing at home to Celtic. The vultures are circling.

I wonder how many of these players will see out their contracts once they find out what life is really like in Saudi even if they are well paid. On the other hand trying to break or walk away from a contract in Saudi is not a wise move. Gray's move in not a surprise plus he is joining a club near the bottom the league - if he shows his usual level of commitment his paymasters will not be too happy.

On a brighter note - Eze must start against Scotland - first after last nights showing he should be given his chance, second we will collect a bit of cash from Palace if he starts an international game I believe.

You can imagine the call from the agent: Andre, there is even more money in Saudi, and the weather is even hotter than Greece. Any chance you can break your contract? No? well just phone it in for a couple of games. I'll send the Saudis your bank details and start working on your next move back to the UK.

Posting this twice in different threads - see Scarping it out thread as well.
The72 are winding up the summer transfer window clickbait a bit early and as well the Dieng to Newcastle or Ipswich post they have just posted that Scottish sources say Celtic have already made an approach for JCS. We can do without this until we are safe.

He has had a rough time at Boro so the Newcastle link is really surprising. Ipswich - would all depend on if they get promoted. If not why would he move to another Championship team. Might as well come back to us.
