What's "manning up" got to do with anything? How do these "stupid scenarios" adversely affect anything?

At the moment, we do not have that many players in the squad...
Most clubs allocate high numbers to their academy players nowadays.
Players like Declan Rice have special number e.g. 41
But really does not worry me.

Better still. Have 1-11 on the starting players and dump names on shirts. You could then have 12-18 sitting on the reserves bench.
