Lengthy read - it must have been recorded. Gareth's comment that we have not conceded from a set piece since Blackpool went out of the window at the Hawthorns. I think the exercise was useful and necessary as part of the rebuilding of trust. The reaction has been favourable. The performance was poor at Wigan and Blackpool and the travelling support had invested valuable time and money only to be let badly down. Blackpool was unbelievable. I am not sure that Balogon realises that his action at Wigan was putting out fires with gasoline even now. There will always be an element in the fanbase that go too far through frustration. For me, we live a fragile existence. When we go behind we usually lose, we were on course for a hiding on Monday and then one good cross lifted the mood. The good fortune involved in the equaliser was long overdue. We are better when we are fighting to hold onto something. But I am under no illusion, if we go behind again on Saturday against Coventry, the chances of us salvaging a result remain low. Watford taught us that one.
