We didn’t want that. The only good thing is there next two games are Home to Burnley and Luton, two of the best sides in the league

We have proven that sacking the manager doesn't always get the "new manager bounce"

Actually I think QPR are just the constant "Exception to that rule." Almost everyone else seems to get a new manager balance! (Or maybe they just appoint better!)

May have to disagree with that over the last couple of seasons especially if we include the other divisions. Still Reading have followed our style and appointed a "fans favourite' , ex player and current assistant manager who publicly states he wants to completely change their style of play - before they play Burnley on Saturday - good luck. Apparently Ince has insisted on the constant long ball game and heavily criticised his players in public while the new man wants to play close passing football. Makes you wonder what was going on between the 2 behind the scenes and why they backed Ince for so long. That and Reading's off field issues make them sound like a clone of QPR - they even try (not very well) to copy our kit Lost count now but it must be close to 20 Championship manager sackings/changes in this season, but certainly a record number. Rumour has it that Burnley will sack their man if they do not reach 100 points - and to think not long ago we were ahead of Burnley until we both changed managers.

He was clearly very angry that the club was being punished for off-field violations. His theme was 'if we get relegated, it is nothing to do with me'. I think he wanted the sack so that he would get the pay-off and not have the relegation on his CV. He was sulking with his bosses. His style of football was hugely unpopular with Reading fans. parking the bus and relying on the breaks - they conceded a number of late goals. As Hunt is going to go for it, anything can happen now (aka Huddersfield). I think I would have preferred an angry Ince from our perspective.
