Hello everyone!
I’m very happy to finally be a member of this forum (which I know and have read for many years) and I apologize in advance for my poor English (which I haven’t got the chance to practice for a while).
A lifelong fan of our Rs from Athens, Greece (an interesting story of how I became a QPR fan, but this will be the main theme of a future post!), a lover of the 2004 Ollie's team with Cook, Shittu, Furlong, Gallen, Birch, Gaz and so on, and delighted that in April I’ll be in Loftus Road for two (or three) matches. This will be my first time in W12, although I know many things about the culture, the area, etc., due to my love for the club over the last twenty-five years.
However, the reason for this post is that I’m preparing for my upcoming trip in W12 and I want to experience the most qpr experience I could get.
I would like to know your suggestions about which qpr places to go for a pint before the match (and after), from what time do people gather in the surrounding area, in which area of the stadium I should seat in order to have a proper atmosphere of what is like to be in Loftus Road, etc.
In a few words, how I should organize a proper QPR Saturday in W12!

Can the mods pin this post please? I have the same questions and I’ll be heading back to Loftus Road in the next couple of years. I’m sure other out-of-towners would like to know this exact same info. I’m looking forward to some responses.
Welcome Greece!

Thanks guys! Needing a home ticket is good info. The last time I went, I just hopped off the tube and got my ticket at the gate. I assume digital passes are the order of the day at Loftus Road now?

Cheers surreychad and rickyqpr for your valuable information! Hope to be safe by then, and of course to see up close the wild thing Gaz before the match!
