Very surprised. Would have guessed him on the bench (at most)

Very surprised. Would have guessed him on the bench (at most) Not sure tbh, but I think that's more the cse when returning from injury rather than illness. I think desperation may also have come into play.

Some were skeptical when we signed Martin. I'm just glad to have him. Obviously wish he scored more and was younger; but he seems the ideal professional to have at the club right now.

SEVEN LONG Minutes...
(I'm also predicting IF we hold out for the win; Amit Bhatia to return with a tweet or two)

Woohoo, yes yes yes, get in, massive result. So chuffed for Gareth. Well done Hoops at last dug in.
42 points, one more win and a couple of draws should do it. Let’s get another win against Blackpool and Birmingham….
What a day ,good old losses again for Wigan, Blackpool and Huddersfield, thank fully they are all very bad … At last a lovely weekend to enjoy 👍

What a win, Dykes was huge for us with some great play. Chris Martin just wants to make it a battle and I loved it.
We need to get players fit for Tuesday, that is a huge game. Seeing a couple hobble off wasn't good to see.

I think this win keeps us up...The surge of confidence...The lack of that run over our head... Maybe we need a handful of more points (Maybe we'll end up with enough already). But a point here. A point there - We should be able to do that

That today was the kind of QPR I want to see. Finally a bit of p*ss and vinegar about us.
No more pulling out of 50/50’s and being bullied off the ball.
It was truly a joy to watch.

Have a look at this interview. In my opinion it shows passion and commitment to QPR and also confirms at this time right choice made in switching to GA as manager: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOIuqm1tXAw

He worked miracles at Wycombe for over a decade with bugger all money, the perfect preparation for the QPR job.

Living where I do, I guess I follow Watford pretty closely. I know a lot of Watford supporters. The feeling that many QPR supporters have had about our players not caring, is exactly the feeling that Watford supporters have about their expensive team. Pedro, Sarr and Davies as a strike force are supposed to be worth circa £50m – but so often just go through the motions. The owners don’t help, but the problems at Watford run as deep as the problems at QPR. I guess with hindsight, if we were going to turn it around at all, it had to be against Watford. Good to win, good to see the passion and the players caring, good to beat Wilder. It wasn’t pretty, I thought on another day Amos tackle would have been adjudged a penalty, but it was our deserved day for a change. After Sheffield United, extra time was painfully long. One win does not make us safe, but could the results yesterday have been any kinder? It was just the Saturday we had been waiting for months. I hope we can win another game before the international break. Blackpool will be interesting. Kakay played well yesterday and a back 3 suits our team so much better. I don’t fancy his chances against Josh Bowler on Tuesday though. I have been banging on about giving Drewe a chance, so I am pleased that he has done so well. Is Sam Field now our most valuable player? He was the only one attracting interest (from Palace) last window. He has been a great signing. Relieved of the captaincy yesterday, he had a great game. Pleased to see how much Ainsworth cares. Critchley probably did, but it never really showed. Change of formation, change of style, change of tactics - full marks to Gareth yesterday. I did think that sending Albert on was a mistake at the time - and still do - but yesterday was a day when it all worked for the boss.
