David Kerslake is the unexpected name in Malky Mackay’s new backroom team that has been confirmed by Watford.
Sean Dyche is, as revealed by the Watford Observer last week, the new Hornets manager’s assistant boss, while Alec Chamberlain remains as goalkeeping coach.
However, Mackay has opted to appoint 43-year-old Kerslake, who previously worked alongside Colin Calderwood at Nottingham Forest following a playing career that started at Queens Park Rangers and included spells at Swindon Town, Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur, as his first-team coach. ...

The new First Team Coach is former QPR, Swindon and Tottenham defender David Kerslake.
He joins the club after leaving Nottingham Forest in December with Colin Calderwood, after holding down a similar position with the east Midlands outfit.
