Iwent to the man u qpr game at old trafford on tuesday and was extremely disappointed with the performances of the so called star loanees, in particular the "effort" of Parejo. Is he fit? He doesn't seem to be able to last even 45 minutes, was way off the pace of the game, and his passing was abysmal. I was sitting next to a league club manager who called him Tommy Cooper - lots of tricks that don't work. I also see he has been selected for the Spanish U-21's.Talk about the emperors clothes- is someone having a laugh. Anyway to the point of my rant. Those of the qpr double winning youth team that are still left at the club i.e.Angelo Balanta, Danny Maguire,Chris Arthur and Ramone Rose can hardly get a game of any kind and are having to look to going out on loan.Meanwhile the team at qpr has number of very ordinary players from overseas in the squad. Is there any intent to bring our own young players on or is Loftus Road to become a rest home for mediochre Spanish and Italians.

Well said and welcome grumpyolde. too many skilled players from last year have bad injuries and lost a loanee Mancienne Vine and Buzasky. They have not replaced them. We spent the summer buyin a goalkeeper and a defence player who we chased all over the league to land Gorkss who is in QPR limbo. Meanwhile we did not pursue a striker to help Blackstock but brought in these odds and ends that you mentioned. The manager who had plans and saw the team look better was fired. The new manager is supposed to be a player who everyone likes but has never managed in his life. Our owner has a lovely pair of slippers----see previous post ---but makes Scrooge look generous in buying quality footballers but not quality footwear. despite this mess which i abide as growing pains by ownership that knows Benetton and F1 but not football and declines to admit it nor pay any salary for expertise is in 10th place and you can still see them play rather than live on memories as they were winding it up deadbroke. The future is next Sat at Watford. If we start sliding backwards they may be forced to buy a couple of qualities. What you have to be concerned about is the total absence of real planning. The total absence of a quality manager. But the owners are not. If they have to spend too much to keep this team competitive we will see what their long term commitment is. Welcome again grumpyolde. If you rant too long on this board you wil get stick, .which Ive never been concerned about but this is more of a short history of the team since last spring.

thanks london ranger for your comments and welcome . I,m surprised nobody has come up with an explanation as to why unexception loan players seem to be holding up the progress off the pick of our home grown talent. Is there one?

If they have a real rebuilding plan which I doubt, right now its bring in Axis players or Sudamericanos. They dont seem to mind overpaying them. Paladini is in charge of new players so I hear. Ive learned to believe nothing til it happens and it still may not happen when it happens we signed someone from the Carribean (goalkeeper) and then he had no work permit, If I said it is shambolic im overly pessimistic so Ill say its all so mysterious. thanks for comments. ps we need two more fullbacks two more midfielders and two more strikers and a backup quality goalkeeper. All of quality. But then its not my money. nor do they ask me for my opinion as my dad used to say.

Don't forget, for £20 you don't get a say, that was made clear very early.
Parejo was nothing like his performance against Villa and that was his chance to shine and didn't.
Players going out on loan or worse sold, what is going on!!!!!!

I care about QPR. I have a badge says QPR supporters Always there. Right now its like a bad marriage but for better or for worse. I must admit Im thinking of going on a loan for fans for three months. Probably Kilmarnock or Heart of Midlothian.
