Hi there, my Dad was a lifelong supporter and has just died aged 91. I have a very grainy photo of him at this match, from the 16th March 1968 against Aston Villa, which got the team promoted to the first division. My Dad couldn't get a ticket at the QOR end, so is the only person throwing his arms aloft amongst the villa fans at the final goal. I would love to get a copy from the original so it's a bit clearer. Can anyone help?

Sorry for the 2 year wait for a response and I really cannot help with the photograph. I would just point out for accuracy and hate to ruin a memory but the match was on May 11th not in March. I was there having travelled on a supporters club coach and the whole of our coach load were mistakenly put in the Villa end. After a well below par nervous performance, which we were lucky to win and scrape up on goal average, I recall a Villa fan turning to me and my mates and saying "wait till Man Utd get hold of you lot next season" - of course we laughed it off as no problem - until we went up there and suffered our worst ever defeat in any league. Those were the days though when you could have some banter with the other team's fans in the wrong end of the ground.
