Were it 17 bn, then I might be confused with someone who was vaguely interested. These puffed up greed mongers have systematically set about destroying lower level football in a most callous fashion.

I don't mind players receiving wages above the normal for their talents but there has to be some realism about what they get. To me, with all the other opportunities retiring players get these days (And big wages in some cases) They should be in a very good position. Jobs in the media or in football, even jobs away from the game.
So for my point of view, anyone earning over 20k Per week should consider themselves damn lucky! 20k per week, That's $40kNZD, That's 2 3rds of my yearly income in just one week. And i look after life's schmuck!s. So I may seem a little jealous but the reality is, what is the average wage in each of the various countries that play football. Some of the 250-300+k per week players need to take a long hard reality check at themselves and their selfish cry baby antics of how hard done by they are and get real.
The clubs paying these ridiculous wages need to look at themselves too. In their desperation to win the big jackpots they stretch their bank balances to overflow. Is the likes of Pogba really worth what he is getting EVERY week? Anyone earning more than 1 Mill per financial year should consider themselves very damn lucky. I wish I was.
