0-0 HT I think Austin will score in 2nd half. No goals and not much action around the goals but I'm enjoying the game. Hopefully he can bag a couple in the second half! URSSSSS!!!!!

Another poor home performance Mark Warburton, how many home wins have we had this year? Will be hoping the bottom three keep losing, Forest and Derby were always going to pull away but we really did need a point minimum today.
Danger is the bottom three have 2/3 games in hand of us. Will be Hoping NW can do us a favour Weds night

One overhead miraculous shot was miraculously saved. Cant remember who was the shooter? Oh yes Barbet.

Appalling officiating today, beyond belief.
Rs were totally hosed by the ref.

As per usual our build up was decent, but efficiency of entry passes and also pace of our strikers in the 6 yard box were both wanting for quality.
Oh yes, there was no hope of the 2 later subs having any sort of impact, with 10 minutes or so to go..

Niko is totally inept IMO, and Dykes is mediocre. And that was a penalty all day long, still our defence needs better than Niko, so no excuses.

And again, only 8 substitutes. Economizing on underground travel and laundry costs Ricky.

Derby were well organised and energetic. We were laboured and lacked creativity. 9 days left of the window: We need a box to box midfielder & a left wing back - BIG TIME I am not confident that we are prepared to spend real money though.

Seriously though I keep wondering if the absence of a crowd has an impact on these decisions - just imagine the appeals from the crowd for that one. The noise would have at least got the refs attention and probably would have had some influence on his decision or at least check with a linesman. We have suffered more than once this season from decisions like this (as have many other clubs) and almost every time it seems the decisions have cost clubs points. Everyone says the decisions even out over a season (nice theory) but do they really? and do theyeven out on points won or lost and the difference between promotion, relegation of staying in the division. I'm not so sure on that. Still we did not deserve to win but a draw would have been fair. Just played Derby at the wrong time with their change of manager and we were below our best. I don't know if it evens out over the season or not. I would imagine fans of all teams probably believe they are more hard done by than any others but that was one of the most blatant i've ever seen not given and the officials should be ashamed. I know some people are ardently against VAR, and it certainly has its faults, but with it, there's no doubt that a penalty would've been given so bring it on I say.

Wayne Rooney has agreed to defer some of his £90k per week salary. The man is all heart. Scandalous.

I am totally against Tim Robinson refereeing us as whenever he does we have bad decisions given against us and the opposition always benefits imo he is totally inept as a ref and I really hope he does not officiate any of our matches again rant over !!!

Kent, I actually found your alleged rant to be moderate and restrained, given the appalling performances of this fellow. Especially the last game. In a more reasoned world he would be obliged to forfeit his pay. Oh wait, I am overlooking the major obstacle to such sane behaviour, the EFL.

Rotherham 2 - 0 up away at Boro with 2 games in hand of us and 4 points behind. Anyone think the two wins we got has got us out this mess would be very wrong. We are very much in this scrap....
