Best of wishes to everyone take care and let’s pray things start to hit there peaks and taper down the other side soon. Shocking to learn that London area has 3,000 patients in hospitals out of 9,000 or so U.K. total ... QPR FOREVER

So far so good, but missing the kids. Two in London, one in Letchworth and the fourth in Brighton at uni (well, kind of...).

Not too bad here but have been furloughed for the next 2 months so that's a nice 20% pay cut! Mum & dad (both 85) are only helf an hour away so it's quite frustrating not being able to visit. Mum does their shopping through Ocado using the app on her tablet but Ocado have switched the app o ff so I'm having to sort it out for her and that is challenging to say the least!

I'm as fit & well as I've been for three years.
We do have coughs in the family but no other symptoms of the virus & I'm sure we're clear of it (at least for now).
Bridge is one of my hobbies & I've just started playing online & that is keeping the brain occupied!
Keep safe all.

All good here, its a nice thread to start Macmoish
fitness is going up, managed to do a 5k run for the first time in ages and set myself of a goal of getting under 30 mins (I am close to fitty and a bit overweight by a stone or so so 30 mins is a good time for me). Everything hurts after but weirdly satisfying!
The house is going to be like a bloody showroom by the time this is over, each room is either getting a tidy up or newly decorated!
I am nervous about my business but hoping we can come out of this all be it smaller but still in tact.
Keep safe and well everyone. I have only been on this board a short while and I really enjoy it and have high respect for everyone on here.

Don't know how safe I am but I stay sane by watching netflix and listening to classical music.

Everybody in our house is fine Though my brother in law was admitted to U.C.H. almost two weeks ago. Now anybody going through a similar story will Know what a nightmare it is. He self isolated at the start after coughing got generally Worse and was rushed in to hospital blues and twos. Once admitted no visitors are allowed and early days all family members got updates. As the hospitals got busier only next of kin got updates and any texts my brother in law would send were few and far between This mainly because he was on a ventilator and oxygen. This obviously lead us to believe we would not see him again there just seems nobody coming out of these wards !! Anyway as the days past hearing less and less just texts now and again saying his stats were getting better oxygen turning down Caffeta removed, basically from him and his Mrs but we all worried he was painting a nicer picture than it was for the benefit of the family. Anyway to cut a very long story short He got picked up at UCH by his wife three hours ago. He is home people do come out and fight back so if you are affected by this Nightmare don't give up hope and i hope our story helps.

Really pleased to hear a good news story for a change, everything on the news is doom and gloom and so so sad.

Esenntial worker looking after 30 prisoners over the age of 70. I call them the canaries, because if one goes down it's like the coal miners, you know there is something around. No guesses for what they are in for. But to be honest, being in the joint is probably the safest place to be right now. Precautionwise we are doing quite a lot to stop it from coming in. My gut feeling will be that it comes in via a delivery of some item.
Anyway, stay safe.

We’re safe, 4 teenagers can be a challenge but we’re out in the countryside so consider ourselves lucky.
Miss the normalcy of QPR life. Would even welcome rangersman complaining right now 😏

I’ve gained 7 pounds so far (sorry, no clue what’s that is in stones). Watched a ton of EDM concerts on YouTube, though. I pretty much start drinking 2 -3 hours earlier than usual, and stay up 2-3 hours later than usual. Not sure what all the weight gain😊 That all being said,I am a sportsacholic first and foremost. This is tough. My Memphis Grizzlies held the final playoff position, my college basketball team was about to start tournament play, and QPR we’re getting really fun to watch.
But staying safe is the name of the game and I hope all your you are doing well. Summer can’t come soon enough!

Good to read that fellow posters are keeping well. Long may it continue! My direct family are all ok, but have heard of 4 wider family / friend's families who have sadly lost the fight. I can't see how I can return to a normal life until there is a vaccine because my lung deficiency will have me in dire straights whenever I start to mix again. But it is tough enough keeping my son at home now (special needs) so what chance do I have once his Day Centre and work switch back on? So, some tough decisions ahead for us all. But good to know that the message board is still there reaching out all around the world. Good luck everyone - stay safe!

Thanks Ricky. Boris Johnson in hospital. The pandemic is supposed to reach its zenith by the end of this work and maybe, just maybe, the deaths will start to slowly decline.Still wonder if Next season will start on time. This season?? God knows.
